Welcome to Bishop Alexander Carter Secondary Catholic School – Home of the Gators!
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I continue to serve the Bishop Alexander Carter Secondary Catholic School community as your new Principal. I am honoured to be part of a school with such a strong tradition of faith, excellence, and community.
Our school motto, “Because We Believe,” reflects the heart of who we are. We believe in every student’s unique gifts and God-given potential. We believe in fostering an environment where students are encouraged to learn, lead, serve, and grow in faith. These beliefs inspire our commitment to helping every student reach their fullest potential—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
At Bishop Alexander Carter, we are committed to building on our tradition of excellence in academics, the skilled trades, athletics, the arts, and extracurricular programs, all rooted in our Catholic faith. I encourage every student to become actively involved in our Gator community through the many clubs, teams, leadership opportunities, and activities available throughout the year. These experiences enrich student life, foster meaningful relationships, and help students discover their passions while growing as leaders and living out our Christian values.
We are proud to prepare students for success beyond high school. Whether their path leads to university, college, apprenticeship, the skilled trades, or directly into the workforce, our dedicated staff is committed to providing engaging learning experiences that develop the knowledge, skills, character, and adaptability needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

As we begin this new school year together, I am excited to welcome our new students, reconnect with our returning Gators and their families, celebrate our achievements, and continue building upon the many traditions that make Bishop Alexander Carter such a special place. Together, we will continue to create a community where everyone belongs, everyone is supported, and every Gator has the opportunity to thrive.
