Program Description

Ma’iingan (WOLF) Program

The goal of the Wolf Project is to address the specific needs of young people in order to help them positively develop their mind, body and spirit. This is a year long credit course for Grade 9 students offered twice a month after school.

Students need the cunning instincts of a wolf to thrive in today’s society. Through a Catholic lens, students will learn a variety of life skills that everyone should have this day and age. To complement this, students will explore what it means to be a positive influence to others. They will also explore the Seven Grandfather and Five Rascals Teachings. They will enrich their learning through hands-on projects, skills training that no person should do without, mentorship, cultural experiences and overnight retreats.
