The French Immersion programs at school are ‘FANTASTIQUES!’ In the French Immersion stream, we provide rich and engaging learning opportunities where students can excel in both French and English. Students at this level spend 50% of their day immersed in French. Through authentic learning opportunities students become increasingly confident in French, preparing them for a strong transition to secondary school where they can complete their French immersion programming.

lôme d’études en langue française (DELF)
In addition, our French Immersion students prepare to successfully complete the DELF exam in grade 12. The DELF exam is an official certification, valid for life, awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language of French as a Second Language students.
Additional Opportunities
Other opportunities students participate in throughout the year include:
- Creating an art exhibit.
- Making a Seigneurie.
- Students listen to modern French music on a weekly basis exposing them to the language in new and exciting ways.
